EGLĖ MARIJA

Hi, I am Eglė Marija Ažubalytė - freelance illustrator based in Vilnius, Lithuania.

In 2013 I have graduated from Vilnius Academy of Arts, Graphics and illustration. I started my career in advertising industry. After 6 years of agency experience, I have decided to become a freelance graphic designer and illustrator.

Recent years, I have been specializing in book design, drawing and illustration.

In 2020 book by Austėja Landsbergienė "Primary Alphabet for Parents and Teachers" received an award for the book design of the year in competition "The Most Beautiful Books of 2019", founded by the Ministry of Culture

of the Republic of Lithuania.

 

In 2021 I was granted the status of an artist in the Ministry of Culture.

 

In 2022 The publishing house “Dvi Tylos” published my debut fairy tale of illustrations for children “Pūkelis”.

It is the true story of my childhood that became a tale.
